typically, most PSUs have a little switch to flip on - when I first built my PC I forgot to hit it and felt like an idiot after

that or you haven't plugged in every cable, internally or externally. man, building a PC can be so much fun, I forgot the joys

Yeah thanks youre a real big help triangle

@anony did it first time, swapped a few cables around-- one in the 660ti and one in the mobo

Ill double check

I dont know what is going on with my pc, People say watercooling is the best so i got a huge hose from the sink going to my Power unit. Dunno why it isnt working my case is submerged in water and the fans are like propellers throwing out water. pls help gais im a pro computer builder but something is really wrong. I think its my graphics card.

Just make sure that they're properly plugged in and not in the wrong slot, happened to me once, friend looked it over and said one of the plugs weren't in.

Make sure you installed all the parts correctly, might of forgot a wire here and there.

can you show us a pic of the mobo and where the psu is connected? :)

So what exactly happens when you push the on button? Do you have any glowing LEDs on your motherboard when your rig is plugged in?

Full specs would be nice, too.

Update--
So I got it to power on and enter bios when I swapped the led wires around (didnt read the small print), now it comes up with "cpu fan error" instead. Flashed a blue screen when I tried F1, too.

E; hardwares fine, stuck in an endless boot cycle. Probably damaged the OS so im gonna try and find/purchase a.win 7 home disk.

safe mode? or how far into booting does it restart?

yeah i was going to mention the PSU, looks cheap.

as for CPU fan error, as long as it's turning don't worry about it.

It is cheap, I mean it doesn't even look to have SATA power connectors, so you can imagine the power consumption.

Idle power consumption 111W
Load power consumption 318W

Edit: That CPU fan error is due to the CPU cooler not being connected on the right #FAN power slot. If he connects it to the right one it should work without an issue.

You installed a new motherboard and tried to keep the old hard drive and all the data on it, didn't you?

If you change motherboards, you really need to do a complete reformat.

Also uh, can you take a less blurry picture of your HDD?

It's a SATA I by the looks of it, especially the data cable attached to it. And he doesn't need to do a complete reformat, just format and reinstall the partition with windows.
