Serious Halo: Fall of Reach

when two of the better known irishmen of tnb tell you this is a bad idea, this is probably a bad idea. there's obviously a lot of controversy on an OOC level about this considering a majority of the people here have some form of opinion or had family members affected by this.

there are plenty of better real life events to base an rr off of and even then i think the ones concerning a fictional setting are much better and can cause less drama over all.

TRP Salvation night.

The last stand of new Alexandria. Burning skyscrapers. Corvettes flying over slowly glassing the planet. Night is falling and a small marine platoon is stuck inside a trench line. Covenant dropships flying over dropping off brute hunters. The Marines lose their ground and are split up. No way to reach command as the glassing radiation slowly fills the atmosphere. They are forced to use guerilla tactics and use stealth to move towards a higher ground where they can radio towards command.

A grimmy, cruel atmosphere dead civilians everywhere.

edit stop rating my post what you fucknutted tnbers

If this happens: there are no Spartans, and there are no ODSTs. We're all good Army boys. We won't need a fancy uniform or a powered suit to kick alien butt.

where is my oni officer role to brief people
pls im a lore nerd

I have mixed feelings about this. They're the same mixed feelings I had about SSTRP. It's a very limited and dichotomous setting that pigeon-holes the player into playing only a handful of predetermined character arhc--

I'll play the grunt that runs around, panicked, even when you're outnumbered 10:1.

hey just wanna say that if we aren't spartans, grunts are actually pretty scary same with jackals......

i cant wait to have my army grunt pick up an energy sword and use it as his primary
