"The last attack has failed. Nothing can stop it now. In three hours, Godzilla will strike our city."
"May God have mercy on us."

THE IDEA
In three hours, Godzilla will arrive at your city. Due to their foolhardy belief in a last ditch attempt at pushing back the monster, city officials have refused to warn the citizens and the military in time. Now, you have just three hours until Godzilla arrives and brings destruction the likes of which no one has seen before. Good luck.
THE CHARACTERS
- You can play as a citizen, trying desperately to find safety, either by heading into one of the government bunkers, or by escaping into a safe place of your own, or maybe trying to escape the city;
- You can play as the military, trying to maintain the peace and their own sanity as they realize they're supposed to be the thing that stands between the citizens and a giant monster;
- You can play as a city official, trying to find true safety, because maybe, just maybe, you know that the government bunkers aren't really that safe;
- Or you can play as someone who's been waiting for chaos to take over the city.
There's something strangely alluring about the idea of playing as an insignificant little ant, cowering in fear at the sight of a enormous force of nature. Of course, just because you can't stop Godzilla doesn't mean you can't affect your own fate. As I mentioned, there'll be several plotlines, all designed around finding your way to a safe place (and ensuring your continued stay in that safe place, as well as making sure said safe place is really safe). What's important is that after three in-game hours have passed, Godzilla will arrive, and the surface of the city will become hell on Earth.
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
I'm imagining this event as being made for a population of 20-25 players, with most of them playing citizens (from different walks of life). The idea is to always make sure that there are more citizens than military members and city officials, because there's a certain power in numbers. Also, although I have a lot of experience with RPing, I've never really run an event, and considering the way action will be split over several locations, I'd really the help of other more experienced players who can come in and make sure everyone has a lot of fun running away from a giant monster.
