Ay, I got a question. Can you all write down some crafting recipes? Like how to craft a crowbar, radio,wrench, stuff like that. Cause honestly, I'm clueless. I could never find out how to craft anything.
 
typically dave just spawns most of this stuff anyways if you ask him

lel. I save it to computer and keep it to myself.
 
It's my spreadsheet. I saw a lot of people were viewing it (like 30) so i just killed access to it.
 
I mean, the point is to discover this kind of shit IC. I don't like it because it's a dumb system that is too easily abused, but reading up a forum OOC and suddenly knowing how to craft a resistance crossbow is pretty blatant metagame. Honestly, I should just ban you all right now.
 
can you ICly make a crowbar with a pipe and some scrap metal? Does that make any sense to you whatsoever?
 
The crafting system is dumb, just like the script system.

Honestly saw admins refusing to spawn items for people recently that they roleplayed making and had the supplies to make, they just lacked a workbench.

One of the dumbest fucking things yet I have seen on the server, the economy is broken as fuck so why even try to preserve it by making people chase down SWEPS to do shit that will inevitably only feed the toxic scriplust of the server?

Lets not forget illogical build paths.
 
Yeah whatever happened to the good old black market anyway.

Well, since no one even knows how to craft this shit, it's pretty impossible to learn it. Honestly. Plus, even if they did, they probably would be like "Fuck you I ain't got time for that". It has happen to me way too many times to the point were I just gave up.
 
jesus christ its a function to promote some level of trade and value in useless items like scrap metal

everyone knows you cant make a crowbar in real life from a pipe and some scrap, its just a simple dynamic to make things happen
