Admins took Rand's AK74 for a bad reason.

Rand can very well buy another Gun, it just feels stupid that due to a Real life situation I had no control over, my main RP character has to be majorly inconvenienced, and set back. And What difference would it make to you? If anything, it hurts the RP of my character due to a completely OOC event.

In the End, I wish I didn't have to go AFK, I was nervous as it is, and I really wanted to get back as soon as possible. But, I guess you think I'm lying or something.

Whenever I go afk, I almost always say in ooc "AFK" or brb. That way, if someone comes up to me and starts bitching that I'm avoiding rp I can just point at chat and say, "Look here you..." Of course, my character isn't essentially stuck in a warzone and is rather stuck in the city. Worst case scenario a unit comes up to me and knocks me out and drags me into detainment for whatever reason.

Well, I had to initially rush to the Air Conditioning guy, but I got my physgun out to show I was AFK. I came back as soon as I could to tell the units, and that I'd be away for a while.

I think maybe next time something like that happens that you should just disconnect. Let everyone know what's up in GOOC if you were roleplaying and leave.

I thought of that, but then I assumed the units would call for my ban, because they'd think I D/C'd to avoid RP. Then I'd still be here on the forums, but I'd be in the Unban section.
 
I'd eat the loss either way, I assume you have another firearm and I very much so doubt you would need an AK74 if you don't intend on getting into any serious action.
 
you were roleplaying with the units before your afk, take it as a lesson to stray clear of shady intentions by afking so suddenly after initiating. In the future simply disconnect before even starting anything.

First off, I had to abruptly go, because of a bad Real Life situation. Second, I actually wasn't RP'ing with the Units anyway.

I bring my point back, am I supposed to keep this guy, who has a job to do, waiting, so I can finish a potentially 30min-An hour long RP?

I'm sure you wouldn't just "Eat the loss" if he/she had a 2000 dollar item taken from Him/her by an admin for a completely OOC Reason. No hostility, but just sayin' :/
 
If I had all my credits taken away from me (25000~), of course i'd be displeased my meme status (and money i actually use to buy scripts in appeasing the script gods) was revoked but I wouldn't make a post about it.

Not everyone can get that CCA dick like you youmu. For some players a ak47 could be alot to them depending how far they've dwelled into the rebel type of Rp
 
It seems kinda dickish to take someones shit without RP even if it's probably what would of happened if he didn't go AFK.

For me it's more like I just started to get Rand settled into Rebel RP, and I feel I was doing good at it, and now I have a Fake, created, OOC setback of mustering up enough credits to acquire another firearm.

In all honesty there's a good chance it wouldn't have gone that way. Fuppy Thinks I would've ICly stayed in Station 1 just waiting for the damn CCA to arrest me. I just went in there to go AFK so I wouldn't be Shot, and assumed IC and therefore PK'd when I was actually away.

I wouldn't make a post about this either if my Gun was taken through RP, but Fuppy Took it OOCly, and for a Stupid, still undefined reason. So I made this post to ask for my AK back because it took Rand 2 weeks to get it, only for it to be taken in a fake OOC manor.

Just make sure not to fire it for a while so the barrel isn't hot, then stick your needledick down the barrel. Duh.
 
what i've gathered from this thread is 'resistance member goes afk as he's raided, comes back to find his SWEP removed instead of being PKed, and pulls the 'WHAT CHARACTER PROGRESSION WILL THIS HAVE!?' card'
well, for one thing, this might actually add some character to your character. you just got attacked by the CCA, and they showed you a lil' mercy and knocked you out, stealing your weapons. now you've got a reason to hide, a reason to act malicious towards them. they mistreated you. by actually experiencing hardships, like any good character in any good story does, you characters grows and matures, something half the people at TnB haven't pulled off yet.

all in all, take it on the chin lad. your character got raided, and their gun got stolen. end o' story.

e; if you still think it's amdin abuse 4NORAISIN, im sure VICE squad would be happy with raiding you again, and taking your swep, again

It's not like I can say a lot. I'm not Rand or an admin. I don't really have a difference on the matter. Only a opinion.
