Guess I'm missing something because I don't really see the potential enjoyability in a Zombie RP server without zombies. Then again, people hop on GTA to RP as a cop after their shift of being a cop is over IRL, so maybe it just isn't for me. I think it would be much more interesting to have the "city" roleplay be taking place in some sort of stronghold actually after the outbreak, where there's actual choices to be made.
The idea isn’t that there isn’t any zombies, but rather shifting the window of the server’s focus around a prolonged and worsening outbreak that climaxes in the total collapse of society.
Previous ZRPs had done more of an emphasis on post-collapse, have been excessively event-centric and were difficult to keep going for a long time, whereas the momentary liminal period between real life and the apocalypse was the high point for many people who played said previous ZRPs.
