I paused it for a second so I could so something using the internet and when I unpaused it this happened

At least it's only 33.9gb this time around instead of 34gb (fuck me) but come on can I really not get that whole 25.1gb of already downloaded data back

Have you tried changing your download location?

The speed isn't the issue, that's my typical download speed.

It's the fact when resuming the download suddenly 24.1GB of data which took 24 hours to download wasn't downloaded anymore

Subjective. It's a combat style similar to the Arkham series, which I happened to like the combat of.

You could go through practically any game saying that you can beat it by just right clicking. Skyrim? Right click until the enemy is dead. Metro? Right click until the enemy is shot. Just about any AAA game that's been released in the past few years doesn't utilize the majority of the keyboard aside from a few keys and to criticize it on a lack of variety in controls is completely stupid because every other game is the same.

you seem to have missed the part where he breezed through the game's combat with his monitor turned off, even games as shitty as skyrim haven't had that feature yet. and no, this game is nothing like batman LOL, I doubt you could get through a battle in batman with your monitor off.

It's targeting an audience of mindless drones who just want to win, not face a challenge. Blame the consumer, not the developer. You can, however, blame the developer for not having different difficulty settings and having one set in stone difficulty.

Dark Souls II was mind-bogglingly easy with a few brief segments of artificial difficulty, and that's the blame of the consumers. The consumer wants to feel like they've achieved something and Dark Souls carries a title of being "the hardest game ever" (despite being far from it), so with the sequel if they can breeze through it with covenant of champions despite being terrible at video games (e.g. me) they feel like they've really achieved something. From what I played of Dark Souls I (not much, due to incompatibilities with AMD cards) was an absolute nightmare. II was a breeze. Metro: Last Light's Ranger Hardcore mode is similarly an absolute breeze, and probably for the same reasons. Really the only difficult thing about playing on Last Light's Ranger Hardcore difficulty is the inability to see which button you're supposed to press in QTEs. Shadow of Mordor is just the first game to take another step backwards to appeal to a wider audience of people, and it's most likely not going to be the last to be this insanely easy.

I can't speak for Shadow of Mordor itself (I'm only 18gb back into the download, which is just over half) from personal experience, but only what I've heard from others. TB just happens to be a reviewer I trust.

This isn't a fast thread, I was seeing if anyone knew why it happened and if it could be fixed. Don't treat it like a fast thread :~)

Locked, caught up to where I was last night and the thread's outlived it's purpose.

mashing RMB in metro would just spam aiming down sights tbh
