Why is the server crashing so much?

why not just set up a big red button on the tnb home page that restarts the server and anyone can hit it if they need to
 
Basically: since the server going down may likely be the result of the attack, having it pop back up means it can just be hit again. I think it's to cut costs.

Also: I love musicals. They're special.

Cut costs? Are you kiddin me?
Wait, are those attacks the things that took down the server? Because it didn't feel like a DDOS. It normally survives those. Maybe whoever owns the server accidentally kicked it while trying to kick his colleague in the shins and it went down.

Anyways, Cut costs? It doesn't cost money when the server goes down, it just costs money when the server is up. The server is supposed to be 24/7, so if there are no hackers, we pay more money? That makes no sense.
Unless....
The hackers are actually Dave attacking his own server... to have an excuse to save money...

Uh, basically: paying for a server that's simply going to be attacked is not worthwhile, and I also believe Dave pays for bandwidth. DDoS = substantially increased bandwidth costs. I'm not proficient in technical matters, but I believe that's how it works.

Point is: the server's not automatically restarting as a preventative measure against constant DDoS attacks. That's all I know.
 
Have the admins be gone all day? I mean, yes its father's day... but for god sake, you have a server to look after too. I mean, all you have to do to restart the thing is press a button. Or perhaps send some code. It shouldn't take longer than 20 seconds, at the MAX.
 
i doubt dave has a plan that charges based on bandwidth usage, its more likely he has a set plan

I'll let Dave and Adv know that it's pissing people off, though, but it's honestly up to them.
 
Server just went down. Another warning, lost connection to server red text countdown. And now Coluku Swimbula Has my 12 gauge Shotgun, and if I don't find him when the godforsaken server gets up, I'll loose that gun!
Why is it crashing so much? It didn't use to do this.
