Ventrillo Problems

Whenever I try to connect to the ventrillo server I get this error

"Connected to server but unable to authenticate your login name and password. Make sure you entered the correct global server password or the password for your unique login name. You will be automatically banned if you try connecting with the wrong password several more times, so be sure you have the correct password before you try again. Passwords are case sensitive and must be completely retyped if you are making a change to it. The password will always be displayed as 8 (*'s or dots) even if the actual length of the password is shorter or longer then 8. You should also verify that you entered the correct IP address (or hostname) and Port number. If the port number is wrong you are connecting to the wrong server."

I've double checked everything and the IP, Port Number, and password are all what is listen on the vent server information thread.

Password is four 5s.
If you haven't done that.

I was able to connect, but I can't use the name "AlbinoGlowStick"

If you've had a vent account in the past, you will need to remember the password used for that account


IF you can't, use a different name.

join on a new account with the default vent pw "5555" then ask an admin if they can reset the pw on your old account.

so why not just change his password or delete his old account?

quicker. im going to sleep so i cant do it -- theres probably admins on atm to help him out now instead of him pming me a new pw and me sorting that out later on.

It doesn't really matter, I'm fine with using Albino-Glow-Stick for vent
