Serious Unknown RP

Iv noticed that alot of are rps like PRE ZOMBIE OUTBREAK RP OR PRE HL2 RP sorta give it away in the server name so what if we made some sort of rp where it starts off as normal then random little things start to give it away like little news storys on little things like ms herper goes missing but leaves note saying THERE IS SOMTHING IN THE SEWERS or somthing like that and its slowy building up to the reveil of the rp ansted of giveing it away in the dam server name and let us figure it out by looking for clues and small little things that look like nothing by themselfs

We did something like this in an RR awhile back. Everyone just woke up in a foggy town with no memory of anything, and eventually it was revealed to be some sort of monster-worshiping cult was in the town I'm pretty sure?

Generally, though, people like to know what they're playing. Especially for something that's meant to be a longer-living server like ZRP or TRP or HL2RP.

I dunno for me finding out what is the RP/name of the server by the clues of the events or actions happening like piecies everythink together to find out what is the RP of server and not knowing what kind of events could be happening sounds very fun and interesting to me

Also litte note I started playing on TnB servers when first ZRP started so if somethink like that did happen before on one of those RRs then ok

it definitely can be but this sort of mystery thing would only work for an RR, and there's not likely to be an RR for awhile with most of tnb's effort geared towards HL2RP's recent launch.

whats the differnce between an rr and an RP?

RR's tend to be short-lived compared to something like TRP or HL2RP which can go on for quite some time.

what salty said, ye. RR stands for random roleplay. usually these last about a weekend or a week, and have a very specific setting that likely wouldn't work as a full scale serious server.

some examples have been a Vietnam war RR, The Mist RR, The Thing, I think an Alien RR? There were a couple zombie RR's, plus paroxysm and ZRP 2 (which were sort of RR's but not really), the Resonance Aftershock RR, and the most recent Before the Storm RR in New York.
