I wanna connect but I keep crashing on the retrieving server info phase. I think I need to re-download the megapacks as I recently reinstalled GMod and backed all models/sounds etc up, thinking they'd work.
They didn't.

Point is, any other theories? I can't download the megapack, gamefront says "Duplicate headers received from server". Any ideas?

Was the map rp_salvation_night_redemption? That sometimes makes me crash on the retreiving server info thing.

Try loading the map in sp first.

lower your settings, particularily the textures and try again if nicco's suggestion doesn't work
