trackpad wont stop clicking

So out of nowhere my trackpad started clicking while I'm in the middle of typing. It's acted up in the past before and I'd usually just turn it off (fn+f3), but now my fn key doesn't seem to want to work and I have no way of turning it off? I keep having to move my mouse over and click the chatbox while I'm roleplaying because the cursor comes up when you're typing and it keeps clicking.

shouldn't there be a way to disable it somewhere in the control panel?

Nope. I've been looking all over, can't find anything like that anywhere.

From a quick search. Check your system tray for an icon relating to the keypad, or go through any of the tutorials in the above links.

dont use a trackpad

If you don't use the trackpad for anything, get rid of the driver (if there is one). It'll disable/break it entirely but whatever.

See if there's anything related to it in Services and turn it off if you're not too keen on the above solution.
