Steam being a gentleman help

Anyone know why I all of a sudden have to buy gmod again? It's downloaded on my account it just needs to be bought, even though I bought it years ago..
Sent a ticket to Steam, but they can take ages, so any help would be appreciated if anyone got this error before.

Okay folk, I've found your golden solution. :)

Restart steam until Garry's Mod is in your Library and says "Play" instead of "Purchase." Might take a few times but you'll be able to access your game.
