This could really be expanded on in a lot of ways. The main avenue that I could see, which would place everyone in the same group (with some exceptions) and allows an easy railroaded storyline, is us following the story of a
clone platoon. You can work with it in a lot of different ways, with the most effective probably being something to the effect of:
Start in Kamino, the place where clones are produced and trained before being shipped out. Have everyone undergo a final
training course before they're relocated to a ship and sent on their first mission.
- While at Kamino, people can play bounty hunters hired by the Republic to train clones.
- Additionally, some people to play training droids would be needed for the training arena.
- Event would mostly be focused on grouping people up in squads and sending them in to fight one-by-one. Allows everyone to form relationships.
Troops meet their Jedi and the unit commander. Intermission on the ship they've been moved to in order to allow everyone to get to know each other. Should last only as long as everyone's interested, big emphasis on people wanting to actually passive RP. Honestly should be something really experimental and formative, lots of fucking around since all the characters are finally getting a taste of the 'real' world.
- Jedi and commander would be admin-played characters, for obvious reasons. Anyone that wants to play a veteran character or that missed the Kamino part can play an experienced trooper that's transferred in.
- Additionally, if we really wanted to spice things up, some people could be green lit to play mercenary characters with some specialization or role in their mission to justify their presence. Would give another perspective and person(s) for the clones to learn from.
Hyperspace jump over the planet/orbital station in need of invading/reinforcements/defending/whatever the admin team comes up with. Honestly so much to work with here: could be garrisoning an unruly planet with high crime rates, attacking a
CIS (enemy to the Republic in the war) post, etc.
- People could jump in on civilian characters here if it's an urban environment. Otherwise, could use enemies like pirates, droids, animals, etc.
- Standard deployment RP here. Make the objective clear so that nobody forgets why they're there and gets bored, create pause as needed.
