SRP Props Crash the FUCK Out of Me

Hello friends.

Every time I open the SRP map prop packs, it loads about 1/3 of the way before my Gmod crashes entirely.

Same thing happens with rp_pripyat_redux when i try to launch it.

I can always use other props, but some of the SRP ones are pretty nice. Mostly the tech/trader signs, though.

Any ideas?

same happens to littleb he had the problem last night
i think theres just one prop in there that has an issue

no idea which one it is though

i havent tried jakes fix but i can try and get the prop it gets stuck on before i crash

I think jake's fix might just be for when you try to connect to rp_pripyat_rwdux (unless it also works for the prop issue). I had the same problem, while connecting it would load all the way to 'workshop complete' and then my gmod would crash. After playing with my video settings (basically increasing the quality), the map worked fine.

I tried tweaking my graphics (which were already high-ish to begin with), and it didn't really help all too much. I'll try and get a picture of what model it stops on. If it makes any different, I can launch the original pripyat map just fine, just with a bunch of errors.

it just started working? I tried launching on flatgrass and it went off without a hitch

The original pripyat map dosnt use the same content so is kinda irrelevent

try loading them in singleplayer, i remember that worked for me last time. like year ago
