My second roleplay map is 68% done, yet there's a lot of work remaining.
I'm quite.. new with Half Life 2 Roleplay mapping and I totally forgot about some things like :

How to make combine /metropolice force doors ?
Is this object func_movelinear or func_door ?
Please I need every smallest detail about it.
 
I think it's a func_movelinear. You'd have to parent the prop of a Combine door to an invisible func_movelinear and that's it, I guess.
 
I'm ultimately dumb.. I'd need pictures or tutorial or step by step guide..
 
Combine only doors are usually func_door.
 
So in other words, I create block 64 x 16 x 128, make it func_movelinear, then I place prop_(propably dynamic because of amount of animation prop has) dynamic and search for particular combine door model. In prop_dynamic's menu I add parent name of func linear.

Should I also make an additional room to store all those combine doors ? I don't want them on my map.

I have no idea what this means.
 
He might be referring to leaving enough room around the door that it doesn't clip through something or overlap with another brush and flicker like crazy.

Because most of the nexus doors in c18 and c45 both do that and it looks fucking awful.
