My friend helped me build an AMD rig (do not make any intel related suggestions please <3). I've asked for several people's opinion on it. Most of it is positive after mild adjustments were made.

I'm still having second thoughts though on the 660 TI 3gb, and saving the $60 to roll back down to 2gb since it's a'bit of overkill. Is the extra gig of video memory worth it?

Anyway, feel free to criticize. I'm also on a tight budget. I originally didn't want to go over $800 but it's at $815 after shipping. $755 if I downgrade the video memory on the gfx card.

The case is at the very top. And I'm also aware there is no HDD. I have one to use.

>amd

lmao sin u funy xD

do you have a budget or something mate

i guess it's cus amd is more compatible with amd, plus intel is more expensive.

If u want to get swindled like some nerd go ahead and get Intel

Do you really need a 900W power supply for that build? I'd recommend getting something less powerful but higher quality. I know you've got a pretty good deal on it but still I'd look for something less powerful and more likely to last. Maybe look at a more reputable company like Corsair.

The 900W is overkill, yes, but the deal was great. I was originally going for a 650W. That's adequate power. But they are about the same in price. If you can find me something I'm open to consider it.

Why are you avoiding intel?

The prices for it are just ridiculous. I have three friends with AMD rigs of similar potency and they perform just like I'd want a PC of my own to perform.

I'd almost suggest getting a different case. That "see through" bit is more of a hassle later on when you start seeing every scratch and mark.

e; whatever the wattage, don't get thermaltake PSU's. they really are shite.

I went for the 750W corsair deejay linked to save money. thx bb.

So that is pretty much the final thing. $770.01 after shipping. (with the case not in the picture).

Checkout y/n?

Better. I know MSI makes decent GPUs, can't see why their Mobos would be any worse.

e; damn now I want that 660 myself, feels like my 7770 isn't always getting the job done.
