After when the Bethesda logo goes away when loading to the main menu, my game just crashes to desktop. Got any ideas why this is happening?

Yes.

defrag, verify, download the hi res, aw shit.

Hi-res apparently doesn't even do good changes lol

And I already did those..

hi res does amazing changes actually

are you using any mods? it could be because some are conflicting with eaxchother

It'd help if you posted specs. How much RAM would be rather important in this case, and when did this start happening? What was the last thing you changed?

Skyrim restricts RAM usage so you have to fiddle around with shit to fix it.
Meaning, you may have 8gb of ram, but if Skyrim is using more than 2gb it's going to crash.

They fixed that forever ago, actually. It can use 4 GB, which is plenty.

well you can try oblivion its pretty much the same game

Geddout

SPECS:
Graphics: GT 440 (w/ ATI Radeon 3000 built in)
RAM: 8GB
Processor: AMD Phenom X6 2.9GHz

But it might be because of some of my mods, Ill remove some and see what happens

Oh, and here is my mod list :3

EDIT: I fixed it, it was some texture mods that prob fucked it up

hi.

its prob cause you have your sound settings on too high of a level.

go to control panel, sound, speaker settings, quality and reduce it to the lowest level.kk

Nope, I figured it out today:

>Tried to fuck with sounds, didn't work.

>Deactivated all my mods

>Re-activated each, and launched after each

>Found the conflicting mod

>Deleted conflicting mod

>Skyrim now works
