out of my own personal curiousity i ventured to recoloring versions of some clothing items to see what effects you can get
i just wanted to get people's opinions if they liked any of the stuff here and their feedback

i made a satchel texture that matches the 'vanilla' type trousers
but would you ever actually wear that over the black one? maybe you see it working with something else?

the green hat is meant to match the VKBO bag in the content because i wanted something to base it off of

so yeah tell me what you think of any of the options. i've always wanted some more green options for the server to match the outfit combos (sadly all for rebels)
absolutely ZERO combine drip /except/ for the metro_13 satchel texture which i think some people might kind of like.
 
Any variations are always welcome.

I'm not sure what the thing is with a new script (?) or reverting back to the old one is going, so, if you wanna do this work just be aware it might not persist. Though I dunno, I'd ask one of the devs to see if they can back-port it over or something if you do end up making changes.

We'll be doing a refresh / overview on the content going forward, trying to make everything follow some standards for textures, sizes, etc. Both TankNut and I like the variants and intend to keep the idea of selecting skins for items in CC2.

it was just a side interest of mine! i don't have a working relationship with the dev team like say decepti does so i do not know the development pipeline and how to get things implemented in the game

this was just a small personal venture but it's helped me get a better understanding of how the textures work in game and how some modifications can be simple
half life barbie just needs to work exactly perfect or else i go insane!
 
I (personally) would like to see most items get multiple skins/textures. Not only does it cut down on bloat (we have 18 "Metropolice Torso" items alone in the gamemode), but any general customization helps people define and show their characters.

I'd honestly love the level of customization that comes from the unmarked combine uniform (pauldron, armbands, etc etc) become standard tbh

If you could make that apply to rebel uniforms with different lambda/vest sprays that'd be cool as fuck

CIC Helmets for "Hard Hats" and a CIC colored gasmask that matches their peripheral PPE!
special thanks to - whoever made the Combine Infestation Control art. idk i found it on the forums. I HEARD IT WAS GOLDIE. goldie throat NOW!

these technically shouldn't be worn with the sealed suit but IDGAF!!!!

the classic backpack with the 4 variants i have seen in the content - need to fix the actual world item model though fixed that
male and female
these follow the backpack style we are using in eternity currently but more than anything they're atleast isolated again
