the thing being the first rr i ever did was a bit messy as i didn't really have an rr mod team going into it so it was mainly me flying around as quickly as i could from scene to scene and pumping out events and replying to scenes as quickly as i could, aided by some gratuitous building by bungo and tanknut i think

it was very hectic but luckily it turned out great

That was so hard to pull off, only one other rr mod was helping me each night I did it. Bennet was lovely enough to offer if i was desperate but thankfully I managed.

If it helps a new group went back in there two hours later with no clue of what happened. Suffice to say she was still in there...

**[L](Reanimate) More water pours from the creature, more than it should be able to hold in its body. It leaks from the thing's sleeves, from its pants, from its ears and eyes. Gurgling respiration comes heavy. It closes on Rose now, the closest.
**Katalina Tannhauser desperately grabs at the space outside the door. She keeps kicking at Rose.
**Nurse Sandra Harper pulls back as the door opens, looking very fearful. She stumbles to the ground again.
** Rose simply sloshes against the water dripping out from the creature, kicked back once again by Katalina. She's doomed, and she realizes this as she looks up to the creature, screaming in horror.
**Katalina Tannhauser scrambles out of the counter room. She sobs grossly.
**[L] (Reanimate) [EVENT] Once within arm's length, the creature moves toward Rose rapidly, with inhuman speed, limbs flailing. It reaches down and grabs for Rose's screaming mouth, one hand wrapping around her lower jaw, and one the upper. It pulls them apart.
**Nurse Sandra Harper: [YELL] WH-WHAT THE FUCK!
**[L] Kurtis Martel Neuhäuser grimaces, face turning to a sheer pale of horror. "WHAT TH'FUCK!?"
**[L] Nurse Sandra Harper pushes up, over the dead body. She scrambles for the exit post-haste.
**Rose DeVries sputters out blood, eyes frozen wide in horror- and she can't even scream. She weakly claws at its arms, a useless attempt to make it stop.
**(Reanimate) [EVENT] Audible cracks and snapping comes from Rose as her screams turn to gurgles, as her jaw is ripped clean from her head, taking a good length of her throat with it, all the way down to her sternum, quivering esophagus and splurting veins painting the water-filled room with crimson.
Bruce Wilkinson: [YELL] HOLY FUCK-
Kurtis Martel Neuhäuser: [YELL] Fuck this!
Damien Hawkins: [YELL] OH MY GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDD!!!!
Bao Lua Huang: [YELL] Aie, aie, aie!

The walls pulsate, retract and expand. Sinewy flesh extends across the stone. It seems alive.

There's an answering hum on the other side of the door. Something beckons.

"Oh. How I have missed your sweet, gaze."​

The revelation comes into view. The source of the horror that befell the town. Fleshy bulbs cover the wall, roaming all over it. They come to a focus at the end of the room, muscled tendrils extending and affixed to some sort of lovecraftian creature. Once they're inside the presence of its mind is overwhelming. It's looking over them all one by one. They can feel it poke inside their minds, gleaning information.

"What are you?"
"Take Her test. Glimpse into the Infinite."


As one the group are forced to their knees, as if heavy hands set down upon their shoulders. There was no resisting this force.

The Entity, whatever it is, writhes and rolls in the space it occupies, horrifying sounds coming from it as the group are forced to kneel.

"Covetous! Consume and absorb!"

...

"Nurse lady?"

"I'm sorry."

Without warning Bao is sucked forward, invisible hands grabbing at her body and dragging her toward it. It's impossible to stop. There's no emotion in what happens next, it just happens. The woman is flayed, her skin peels off of her body. It's pulled from her bones and flooded into what is now the gaping maw of the creature.

As she's pulled into the monstrosity, her only response to it is a guttural scream. She tries her best to resist it, but to no avail.

Bao's bones are scattered over the group as the last piece of organic material is stripped from her being. She is no more.​
