I'm looking to build a new PC, and at the moment, I'm stuck at which processor to choose. It's between either a Sandy Bride-E 3820 or an Ivy bridge 3770K. Any assistance?

The only difference between the two is the integrated graphics card. If you're not planning to use it (Intel HD 3000/4000), go for Sandy Bridge.
Hmmm. I was under the impression that Ivy bridge would have slightly faster output speeds than sandy bridge.

Only the corresponding new chipset. The CPU itself is completely the same, just with a different manufacturing technology.
