Problem Entering a Server

Ok for example: Server 2, on the map outer_canals (idk if map is relevant).
I join, and sending client info... then I get to the character selection screen. RIGHT AWAY as I get to this screen, the reload sounds go off and it just keeps repeating, and repeating, and repeating. When this happens its lagging me bad, I can't even click on my name its so laggy.

I restarted my computer, restarted steam, refreshed my gmod folder (cache, and removed the folder and made a new one, installing old skins)

I have no idea what to do and its making me extremely mad, bro.

Any fixes out there would be extremely helpful and happy holdays

e: THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON S2. Which is odd.
Any ideas?

Join another TS1 server(like S1) and then try S2, maybe. Sometimes(not always) after starting GMod I'll be unable to join S1 without crashing, I don't know why. But when I start it and join S2 first, then connect to S1 it works fine.

Yeah, thanks for replying haha but it turns out its only the map thats doing it to me. rp_outercanals. The winter version works fine but the other i'm not sure.

No idea how to fix it. I have time though, depends when we switch back.
