Planning on upgrading my computer.

Hey, so I am looking for the communities opinions on processors and every sort of performance function that goes into a pc. Ie video cards and the whole lot.

I am going to purchase a laptop ultimately but I would love some ideas as what works and what doesn't work. Much thanks my friends.

With Concerns on a processor, If you're looking for what is "Recommended" for games today (Such as Arma 3) They require something with about 4 Cores and 3.0 Ghz. If You want to try and get something cheap, yet still has amazing power go with a Z87-C Motherboard with a I5-4670k 4 Core 3.4 Ghz. If you get this from Microcenter it would run you at about $300 for both pieces together ($100 for the Mobo and $200 for the Processor, they usually keep this in a bundle.)

I'm able to run everything smoothly.

Price range is up to $700. I got smothered with money for a computer.

I got my new Rig Fairly Cheap (Well, Considering I already had the HDD and GPU). It cost me about $434.67 From Micro Center. $300 of that just being the Mobo and Processor. The other stuff was like a 120mm Fan, Disk Drive, Dust Cleaner, 8 Gigs of ram, a Static wristband and some other misc. items.

Remove the PSU if you already have a sufficient one that doesn't have a shit power rating, if you want to squeeze more performance out if you don't have to buy the psu
