Basically, people hear everything that I hear from my pc through my mic. At first I thought the sound was just "leaking" from the headset's speakers but it turns out it isn't, as even when the mic is muted (by the heaset's control thing) they still hear things through my microphone, it also seems to only happen when I'm speaking, and if someone else is also speaking, they'll hear themselves in an echo. I've tried searching on google and updating drivers and so far nothing, also tried turning off stereo mix and lowering the level of the mic stage by stage until it got to 0 and muted.

The headset is a Trust USB (dont really know much more than that)
Running Windows 7 64bit and don't think I have a sound card or anything to do with sound other than some nvidia ones and Realtek high definition Audio in hardware and devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Make sure your stereo mix is turned off or something. Might help.

To get to your stereo mix go to the control pannel -> Hardware & Sound -> Sound -> Recording and, once you're there, deactivate Stereo Mix.

I tried doing that and it didn't seem to have any effect, off or on.
