Hey people, I'm typing this from my laptop since I'm currently trying to fix the issue with my PC in safe mode but I'd appreciate any help I recieve. Anyhow:

I was on Realm of Darkness.net looking for some decent soundboards for a prank call on Skype (I figured out certain numbers are free) when all of a sudden I'm spammed with a shitton of requests asking for permission to use Windows Command Prompt, which I then began to deny until I accidentally allowed it. All of a sudden, avast pops up claiming it blocked a threat, then an icon saying my PC needs to restart in order to close Windows User Account Control, and my PC reboots itself. When its finally booted up, an Avast message detecting some kind of threat/virus pops up and my PC starts acting strange. For example, Skype and Firefox crash on opening, I can't open Spybot Search and Destroy (The process briefly appears in the task manager, then dissapears). I also couldn't enable Windows Security Service Center or User Account Control, and it wouldn't let me use Windows Firewall with reccomended settings. I also noticed that at one point it said low on memory.

So, I rebooted my PC in Safe Mode and ran Spybot Search and Destroy, where it detected a bunch of stuff so I selected fix, and it stated 'All problems resolved' though a few of them were directly linked to memory so the PC needed to reboot with Spybot Search and Destroy enabled. So, I rebooted my PC in normal mode, let S&D run and let it go to the desktop, only to find the same thing happening yet again. So, I went back to Safe Mode and booted up Spybot Search and Destroy, ran it again, found that the viruses regarding disabling/overriding Windows Security, UAC ect were still present. Checking further, I found out that changes had been made to the actual registry so uh, yeah, I need help with this. Trying to fix them hasn't worked so far, so, what do?

NOTE: Re-Installing my OS is a last option and I really don't want to do it without having exhausted all others.

Serious advice: Reformat and reinstall your OS.

Nice guys, I love giving infractions, keep up the good work.

are you some kind of fucking sadist what the heck?

boot windows in safe mode, look for any unrecognised startup programs that start up with your pc(hold the windows key, and press R, then type in "msconfig", go to the "startup" tab. uncheck anything you don't recognise. something like "SAFEWINDOWSENHANCEVIAGRAFREEPOKER.exe" is obviously the kind of thing you're looking for, but to be safe, try disabling everything except the programs you /know/ and trust.

also doesn't hurt to run a malwarebytes(get free version)/avast scan in safe mode while you're at it

also note that if you're running an older pc(xp era) you might disable for example your wireless drivers doing this, that's okay. just re-enable it when you're secured your pc
