Can I get some feedback on my potential build? Mainly hoping to get 150+ fps on CSGO, and just be able to play everything else on mid graphics (pubg, escape from tarkov, dayz, etc..)

Case: Tesseract Deepcool BF Black Midtower

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core

Motherboard: MSI B350 Tomahawk Socket AM4 AMD B350 Chipset

PSU: Thermaltake Smart White 500W 80 PLUS

RAM*: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2xGB) DDR4 2133MHz

HDD: Gonna start with a 240GB SSD from Kingston SSDNow

OS: Windows 10 home 64 bit

Graphics Card: Zotac GeFore GTX 1060 Mini 6GB

First build, still learning how components all function together.

Definitely on a budget here guys, and also gonna wait until black Friday so I can save even more money.

get a smaller ssd for your OS and a 2nd, much larger HDD for everything else

like a 120gb ssd and a 2tb hdd

For the processor, I'd recommend getting the 1300x if a higher thread count isn't that important to you, as the core speed is at a .3ghz higher per core, plus it's slightly cheaper. The difference in most games isn't that much, really. The extra threads might do you better if you do productivity more then games. I'd suppose the 1400 is slightly more future proof then the 1300x, as well, but that's a moot point.

For RAM, I'd recommend getting a single 8gb stick as opposed to two four gigabyte sticks, as to allow you to expand with more 8gb sticks, if you so pleased as opposed to just four gig sticks.

As Mid said, a smaller SSD and a larger HDD would do better.

If you're *really* on a budget, a GTX 1050 Ti would probably be best, given that you hit an average of near 50FPS (on max) with most releases, plus 120 avg FPS on CS:GO if you're ambivalent on that.

Here's the build I've constructed for you.

About 650 for me, including shipping and the likes. If I'm correct, this should be able to run most games on medium-high or max, if you're so inclined.

EDIT; nearly forgot the case, about 680'ish for me now.

It's better to just get a mini fridge instead of a case so you don't have to spend much on a bunch of fans.
