Not able to log in

So pretty much my friend for some reason doesn't have a fourm account so I posted this for him, IC name David Brackman. Every time it connects, it gives the "couldn't connect to server" error message. Don't know if this is common or something, but it would be nice if it could be solved.

It's comcast. Same as mine, oddly enough and I can get in.

less likely isp related, probably a firewall issue instead; try joining with the firewall completely disabled(follow these steps, additional ones may be required if his antivirus has a firewall built in as well).
if that works, you can start narrowing down ports.
