Hey folks, since I'm going to be upgrading my GPU soon I'm wondering if it was also time that I upgraded from my four and a half year old 54mbps Belkin Wireless Adapter and found something better for my net connection. If I could I'd hook my system up to an extended ethernet cable from our wireless router downstairs but since it'd be a lot of hassle to route around the house without anyone tripping over it/pulling it out by mistake, I was wondering if there was an alternative. Are there any particular wireless devices that'd give me a decent connection for something like Planetside 2 or Rising Storm?

Is your ISP providing you with a speed greater than 54mbps in the first place? If not then there isnt much reason to change tbh, if you're having connection stability issues they're more likely to be due to your router.

Use these myself, they work great. Make sure to get them from some electronics store near you, however. Some houses are wired in a way that won't support them, so you can just take it back if that's the case.

Doesn't have to be that brand specifically (I use a 1 Gbps version from Belkin, actually) but they're all generally the same.
