I'm... I'm not actually gay. It was all a ruse so you would all lose some respect for me. think i fixed it but people need to login/do stuff for the changes to register

nginx wasn't properly using cloudflare's real_ip headers
so every user's "ip" would just be the ip of the nearest cloudflare node

geo ip is actually fairly reliable but does sometimes show inaccurate data for a while (month or two max) when blocks are reallocated between two countries
