Anyone who ever says 'reinstall windows' or 'wipe harddrive' or just shoot an FN-FAL into your fucking tower is wasting your time for software issues. There is -always- steps to remove viruses individually on google. I got rid of this one a few months back, was fairly easy.

Just be careful what site you go on so you don't pick up more. This is what I used. Malware bytes specifically.

I say it cause he probably has other viruses and it's better and easier to be 100% certain when it comes to security than trying to remove a virus individually. That way after he clears his computer he can go back into it with better security practices.

I got something like this last summer.

i just opened my browser and a spanish police logo symbol appeared and then some text saying that i had been browsing child pornography and asking me for 50€ to unlock my computer. it was of course a virus for old/stupid people to get scared and pay the money.

learnt my lesson and bought Norton

do it

punk

i dont even use an antivirus...

tbh if you can resist opening every .exe you find in the dark corners of the internet ur already 99% safe

^. They're clunky, delete random files you need, and never find anything.

My eyes got a virus from looking at that gif.
