Recently, my microphone went from fairly average output to a point where you can't even hear it, the settings never changed as it's set to maxed out volume and boost for the microphone. The Microphone is a typical logitech microphone and the operating system I use is Windows Seven, I'm looking for suggestions as I'm not sure what I should be doing here.

You should walk to Best Buy and buy a new microphone.

How can I tell which one needs fixing? And how do I fix drivers if its the problem?

Hi.

I also have a logitech microphone, and this did the trick for me.

Try turning your microphone down, to something around 10/20. Logitech drivers have a thing where if the mic is too loud it physically will cut the mic off to avoid massive BG noise, etc.

I've always had trouble with Logitech. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't agree with me. Perhaps a new microphone is in order, if you can't get it to work. Perhaps try changing the settings around in your Audio Options?
