Alright, so yesterday I got on Teamspeak and was talking only to realize nobody could hear anything I was saying. I recently unplugged my microphone from my computer to setup with my TV (I didn't need the mic, I didn't bring it) and this is the first time I replugged it in since to use it. I kind of shrugged it off and figured perhaps it wasn't working because my laptop was on after I plugged it in or something stupid like that, though just now after my laptop's been off all night I'm still having issues, but odder. If I blow straight into my microphone people can hear a loud noise, so that works. If I talk into my microphone nothing happens, they can't hear a thing.

Try finding your microphone levels, (right click your sound icon in sound tray, go to recording devices) and see if that for whichever reason has turned itself down very low. Could always try to use the microphone boost option aswell.

Have you considered changing your avatar and signature?

In a few days, just filler while I look for something interesting.

good now you wont have to talk

Make sure your sound drivers are up to date. When I didn't have all my drivers up to date and went onto TS3 it made this weird screeching noise every so often. From what other people told me it was really loud and irritating.

line in generally isn't a viable microphone input which is weird

is it configured in TS3 to use that specific input or is it set to somtehing else?

Have you tried shooting your mom? Alternatively try stabbing her.

It's configured to line in, yeah. It works if I blow directly into it, but not any other time.
