Another year gone.
We've done some pretty good stuff this year, we wrapped up our previous iteration of HL2 that ran for just about 4 years up with one of the most interesting and epic series of events I've ever seen come from TnB. We gave an honest attempt at an independent and different kind of RP setting that while unfortunately it didn't work out, it was still an absolute blast to go through for the time it was up and also fortunately provided us a decent set of base models for future RR's when we eventually return to them.
While we were set on getting to and exploring PHL2RP I decided that ultimately the communities interest in revisiting and giving HL2 City RP another reinvigorated go was not worth ignoring. I'm looking forward to getting to that when we can because I personally have a lot of different ideas for it and want to take a different approach than what we had last time. In the mean time, I've been having a lot of fun doing events and making something of PHL2RP and while it's rushed, lacking planning considering the last minute launch and definitely touch and go it's been an absolute blast as we've progressed through the events. The lack of planning has certainly hurt the longevity in between the events but unfortunately that can't be helped, all I can say that the events are worth attending and the roleplay is solid, you're going to want to be there for the end.
TRP, I think the simplicity of the fun that's had there has shown what it has to offer. It's good and the loyalty that's been shown to it is amazing. I'll always stress this but any TnB server that does good, regardless of what it is, is to the benefit of TnB as a community. TRP admins, you're extremely dedicated and the TRP server is lucky to have you.
With that said, Merry Christmas TnB. I'm looking forward to 2019 and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into a new era of HL2 City RP. We've gotten a lot of new members this year and honestly, that's awesome to see considering this community started in 2007. I hope we can still get many more.
