My Logitech G430's have been fucking up lately. The sound of each of the cups has gone down significantly, full volume sounds like it's at 20%. The mute option for the microphone glitches out, letting people randomly hear noises.

So, I'm looking for a new setup. I want the headphones and microphone separate. Preferably I want the headphones to have a use for both gaming and music and the mic to be as little of an annoyance as possible.

Budget is around £100 maybe? I don't want to spend too much on this stuff, I'm saving up for christmas gifts.

All razer headphones are pretty nice, and relatively cheap. I had the kraken pros now for a little over a year and have had no problems.

I want the mic separate from the headphones, boys.

Blue yeti I heard is pretty good, there's like a cardioid mic for $60 or so

ive got a blue yeti but it's over nonny's budget, $130 or $140 iirc. snowballs a cheaper alternative from the same company if you don't mind the dip in quality.

I just need the mic to be clear, I'm not going for studio quality. I've been looking at the snowball but I'm not sure where I'd put it, it'd get in the way of everything.

Why'd you even make this thread nonsenze when we talked about it and you pretty much settled for a Blue Yeti, you aint gettin no cheap mic that sounds good and knowing you you'll buy some shitty thing like the antlion and complain when its garbo and breaks after u smash it once

u already have some dj headphones too...

I was lookin at the snowball cunt but it's gonna be a hassle to find where to put it. I just want new headphones, something more comfy than the Sony VR55's I've got, they're not the comfiest of things.

Pick up a pair of used studio mastering headphones. I got some JVCs from the 80s for $60 that sound better than literally anything else I've ever heard and they're 31 years old.

Yeah I'm ordering some now, my left ear cup just gave out init

My Steelseries Sibera's have been solid for several years now.

Cheers for the suggestions, I'm looking at getting a Blue Snowball microphone and a pair of Shure SRH-440 headphones, not entirely sure atm.

tbqh I'd recommend studio headphones and a desk-mic if you have the space. Much cheaper and less gimmicky that some fancy gaming headset + You get better mic quality.

I'd have my budget rec list but I lost that. I might edit later.

Go back and read the OP.
