Please help, I'm hammering my balls for an awnser. Wait no. Help, anyway.

Does your motherboard support 4 sticks or just two?

4, I think. But Windows7 32bit supports only up to 4GB RAM, so, why?

There are a lot of factors, but if you're still running 32-bit you probably won't get anything out of 4 GB.

Check and see if your processor can handle 64 bit, I never knew mine could till like a month ago and I've had this computer since 07?

If you tell the CPU type, I think most of people could say if it supports the 64-bit system.

What do you mean with CPU type? Well, my processor's a Intel Core2 Duo 2.93 GHz. I don't know anything more about it.

I have a intel C2D 1.93 ghz and it runs 64 bit.

I just searched yours up, ( 64-bit Computing Yes)
It runs 64 bit, so with you buying that ram pick up a 64 bit OS or see if theres a 32 to 64 bit upgrade disk at your local store or something.

If you want to utilize more ram, you need 64 bit.
