Installation problems - stalker rp

Hey guys, i dont even know what the server looks like yet, i want to get in, big fan of stalker series.

I connected to the server and had an automatic content download, a few hundred files.
Ontop of that, i downloaded the rp_stalker.bsp and shoved it in C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\garrysmod\garrysmod\maps\rp_stalker.bsp.

anyway, when i try to connect, it says it fails because it cant find rp_stalker.bsp. any help? thanks.

Did you try restarting garry's mod?

yeah, twice now, this is strange..

Tried redownloading?

The folder structure looks a bit odd to me, For me it is

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod\maps

My common folder doesn't have Garry's Mod in it, its all non-valve stuff like mount and blade and terreria.

thanks very much man, i noticed mine was also in my user directory, that's where the real gmod stuff was. hahahah heck, i think you just solved the problem why none of my maps or addons previously worked >.>
