Then your problem might be that you've only got a recovery disk rather than a proper Windows 7 DVD -- might as well throw it away, as using one of those generally tends to be a really bad idea. Can't ever know what the manufacturer put in his preconfiguration and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bunch of bloatware, so get yourself a new ISO, burn it on a DVD (no worries, its easy) and use that. ISOs can be legally acquired
here (x64) and
here (x86); you'll probably want the former but it depends on your hardware and the CD key you've got at your disposal.
