Please help me. So i went to the coast yesterday on my main character Jade Miller, And now when i try to go on the server it says its missing maps or something. I got lost in the coast yesterday and couldn't find my way back, Just wondering if you can either tell me how to get back on the server or to TP my character to the city.


Nobody has yet got back to me. That is just great.

If you download the map from workshop it should work and when you get on turn around and run torwards the wall it should bring you to canals

Ive downloaded the map but it says now "Your map differs from the server's"
What the fook??

Go into your map folder, delete the one the server currently uses. When it redownloads it should be the correct version.

go into your hard drive directory which is normally C:\ then program files (x86) if you're on a 64 bit operating system, then find steam, then steamapps, then common, then garrysmod, and garrysmod again.
go into your maps folder and check for any maps called rp_coast_09 or rp_ineu_valley and delete them

So I have done that, then I went onto the forums again and tried connecting to the coast, It then started to download a BETA file as it is connecting and then comes up with the same message i started. "Your map differs from the servers"

I've never got that. I can't help anymore, sorry bud.
If you have downloaded it from the workshop it should be in your subscriptions. Uninstall from there maybe?

If I uninstall Gmod and re install it, Will all my downloads start afresh?

No, by deleting gmod all your addons are still kept, and those are the issue. You're better off deleting all of those, rebooting gmod, and letting everything auto redownload.

Edit: I advise trying to keep fewer than 50 subbed addons, otherwise it'll slow your game down so bad, and it'll take forever to redownload.

I just done all that and it didn't work. I've now deleted Gmod and all of the files with it, Thanks for all your help. :)

Yeah. i deleted everything. just going though the serves on a different character to see if i can get to the coast.
