I don't know which packs to download to get textures for Caves.

I had just entered the caves when BOOM! everything was pink and black checkers. I downloaded the mega pack for HL2 and the materials pack 1, 2, and 3 but still I dont get the textures. Can someone tell me which pack to download. (I downloaded the map as well, off the workshop.)

I have both of the games ep. 1 and ep. 2 for HL2 but I still dont get the textures. Do I need to do something to get them or what? I just want to go to the caves.

It's a function in Garry's Mod... I think when you launch it, you can choose which games are mounted via the lower-right corner of the screen.

Just to add, there should be a little controller icon (kind of like an Xbox) and it should open up a list of games. Shit like CS:GO, CS:S, Day of Defeat, etc. Just make sure all the half life games are checked, restart, then try to jump onto the caves server.

I think it goes without saying they have to be installed. It's always good to run them at least once as well.
