hl2.exe false positive?

is anyone else getting a warning for hl2.exe being some form of malicious software after today's updates?

not sure if its because i'm a tit and using avg free, whether i downloaded some dodgy files or whether it's something to do with the update

I've got avast and malwarebytes, and neither are reporting anything, so it's one of your suggestions most likely.

I don't even use a virus detector at this point because of things like that lol, if I get malware or something I just like go through and manually uninstall it.

i got avg free myself and hl2.exe's not a virus for me
something's probably actually wrong in ur case
