help gmod issues

it takes like 9 tries just to launch gmod and its a 50/50 whether i actually get into the server without it crashing to desktop

all i gotta do is probably reinstall but how can i do that without losing all my dupes?

there's a folder called dupes in my gmod... granted i dont have any dupes saved but maybe dig around in the folder a bit and drag it out of the folder before u reinstall then drop it in
