GTX 275 SLI'd x2 or something else = $250.

I've already got a 275 GTX but I was wondering if I should just get another 275 GTX or just go for a newer high end card. I'm willing to drop up to $250 bucks for a new card. Perhaps more depending on my paycheck this week and a few more things...

I don't know jack about SLI so I thought I'd ask.

for over 200, i'd get an ati radeon 6950 2gb. it's much better, and once you get enough money, you can upgrade to two for crossfire which would be elite.

By the time you can upgrade there will always be something better. Honestly, though, it's usually worth just upgrading. Multi-GPUs are powerful, but the game has to support it. Otherwise you end up running one at a higher temperature due to poor air flow, or even in rare cases you have to shut off the 2nd one or something messes up.
