My computer needs a bit of cleaning out and I can't remember which remover I used on my last PC.

avg is pretty cool my gentleman. also, it's probably because heidi sends you pornographic pictures which would make a lot of computers be infected by malware. there was one best buy uses which was pretty cool, but i don't remember the name. norton is for gentlemen. google > free anti virus programs > filter by ratings/reviews > you got one. how did you even get malware in the first place.

Microsoft Security Essentials is simple, free, and has never failed me once.

All of these are free:

Avast Antivirus - http://www.avast.com/en-us/index

Advanced SystemCare 5 - http://www.iobit.com/advancedsystemcareper.html

IOBit Malware Fighter - http://www.iobit.com/malware-fighter.html

If you regularly update all of these and stick with the free versions you will never need to buy an antivirus program ever again. Never buy antivirus software from Trend Micro or Webroot, Kapersky is okay in my opinion. The Advanced SystemCare may seem similar in name to a terrible program named Live OneCare that would open all your ports, take up space across the hard drive and the program itself was gigantic. Advanced SystemCare is not the same program. I'll let you download these for yourself and see what all of these can do and they don't interfere with each other and while SystemCare is primarily a registry cleaner and a support program it has prodigious antivirus capability as well. IOBit Malware fighter itself is a supplementary program that can help with safer searching, downloads, etc. Avast is a self-updating antivirus software and much more efficient than the brand names you see at Best Buy.

Both Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials work well. I have used both, but Microsoft Security Essebtials is slightly better.

i dont fucks with advanced system care 5, tried it and i felt that it entirely bogged me down

honestly, who downloads 32kb files thinking it's whatever if that's what you do, then you honestly deserve that malware or virus. turn off uac also, that shit is for faggots.

what fatal posted.

malwarebytes is the most effective.

Reformat your disk, then install MSE and noscript and practice safe browsing.

e: Privatefirewall is a great piece of software as well, particularly as it gives you a great deal of control over itself as well as any other application you're using on your system though like any powerful security software it comes with a caveat: you actually need to know what you're doing to use it the way it's meant to be used.

I have had 0 malware and virus issues after I installed Comodo Internet Security Free. Highly powerfull firewall and antivirus in same package. Also comes with a host intrusion prevention system that monitors every single change to your files, registry, folders, Internet settings, everything. If you so desire. Love iiiit.

But MSE, yeah sure why not. Plus Malwarebytes anti malware.
Other you could also try is Superantispyware. Great stuff and free.

Avast! or Malewarebytes. Personally use Avast, though it's more focused on never getting anything to begin with, blacklisting known malware websites, etc.
