GM13 Config Problem.

So ever since the update, Garry's Mod launches and the resolution would match the native of my computer, and every time i change it to a different resolution, this would pop up in console:

exec userconfig.cfg: file size larger than 1 MB!

Now, im no expert on Gmod config or any of that, but i went to go check the file it was talking about and the filesize was 0KB, meaning it was empty.

I did a quick google search on the issue and a fix for it was to manually insert a valid config setting into it, or an executable command. So i put 'bind x rp_toggleholster' into it and saved.
The file then became 1KB and the error no longer pops up when editing settings in Gmod.

But the resolution problem still remains, every time i launch Gmod it goes back to default resolution, not the resolution i save it to. Help?

Well if the size was 0kb and it said it was too large the file was obviously corrupt. Delete it and upon launching the game a new file will be made.

The userconfig.cfg was fixed, now i need to know why my resolution will not stay saved.

I had that, if you have anything in your command line for gmod then remove that.
