Garry's Mod keeps crashing on OS X

Hey guys!

I've been trying to roleplay on the HL2 server but my game keeps crashing. Sometimes it crashes a minute after joining the game and sometimes it crashes after twenty minutes. I'm running Mac OS X Mountain Lion on a MacBook Pro with 4GB of RAM.

Anyone know what might be wrong?

I never really liked Mac, especially trying to run games on it.

My advice, try going into your Garrysmod folder and removing the 'bin' folder or just placing it in your desktop. It fixed when I did it.

Or try going into your properties folder in Steam Library and setting your launch options to -dxlevel 80.

ITT it's more than likely the OS X platform since I think S&S gets it sometimes and she uses a mac too, unless you can access other servers fine.
Go with the above post if you haven't got any more ideas as to what's the problem, verifying cache integrity maybe?

its a problem with awesomium and osx. i dont know how you fix it, just letting you know the issue.

Ha! Im not the only one! I am getting it. The thing is when I delete awesomium it still crashes. There has to be a way to fix this....

Try deleting the 'bin' folder in your Garrysmod folder, or setting you launch options to '-dxlevel 80' (Without quotations)

Same I've got the same problem and I'm running it on Macbook Pro too. It just crashes randomly on any HL2 server I play on.
