Game Crashes Entering S1/ When I Do Get in Game I Lag Then Crash.

The first I joined onto S1 with the new map I had no problem however the population was low. Later on I tried to join again with a higher server population it does one of two things. It either crashes on the loading screen, crashes when I try to select my character. Or the few lucky times I can actually pick my character it lags then crashes. This only happens when the server population is high. This isn't the first time it has done this either. It did this with TS2 and C18. I have no idea what is going on.

Put "-dxlevel 91" (without quotes) in your GMod launch options, and see if that works. It fixes a variety of problems for many people, so it's worth a shot.

This is actually a pretty widespread issue that's been going on since the map switch

Hoplite just restarted the server so it should be better now.
