FEAR 3 won't start up.

So I was half way in the game, I quit the game for about a few hours to play garrysmod, when I attempted to start it up, it shows my Icon turn green, that I'm in-game, then goes back to blue, and nothing happends.

I've made an attempt to try every solution, and yet, nothing happends. I can't even un-install it.

Any solutions? I actually like it so far, yet it ain't working.

Have you tried hard deleting it? Like literally deleting the files off your computer via right click -> delete/drag and drop in the recycle bin, then re-installing via steam?

Couldn't say I haven't, but rather doubt it will work.

Anyways, anyone who has solutions, please post them, I'll be gone all day tommorow.

You've already tried it (most likelly) , but here's what I'd do -

1. Restart steam (obvious)
2. Try to verify integrity of the game cache (Right click on the game / Local files / Verify
3. Delete a ClientRegistry.blob (Steam will take some time to update itself , so don't worry about the long load)
4. As suggested before, delete the local content , or , if you don't want to spend time downloading it again, just move it to some other folder temporarelly. Then try to delete / instal the game again. If that works, simply put everything back and (hopefully) this will save you the download times.
