Does steam disabled Mcafee quick scan, and mcafee firewall?

I've been having problems enabling scans, and turning on the firewall with mcafee, it turns itself off.
Any suggestions?

Steam shouldn't have any baring over it. You sure it's licensed and that you have no other software trying to do the same job? Honestly though McAffee is horrible, you should get something like ESET NOD32.

It's liscensed, and I only have Malwarebytes as my secondary program.
