Custom weapons and models

When a new model is made/weapon is made, are they added to TnB pack 1? Or...

They're uploaded to the server AND added to Monthly model packs.

Just for the record, the old Megapack - the one split up into three separate archives - is no longer in use by any of TnB's sub-communities. You're still advised to get it because there's some content in it still missing on the Stalker server, but as far as I'm aware, Dave's already working on fixing that.

Might be wrong, though. I just got it installed to be safe.​

No, every month dave/whoever puts all the new donator models into packs like julymodels.rar or decembermodels.rar.

FastDL is fixed for everything but sunrise_nirri.mdl's hair.
It's too fabulous, I guess.

So are those three packs outdated or not..? Say I get this model made. When said packs are updated, will those three links be updated?

Your model will be put on FastDL, that is, everyone connecting to the server should download it automatically. Sooner or later, it'll also end up in the Stalker model pack I'd wager, not sure how frequently Dave updates that one.

Ok let me outline this.

It takes me ages to reupload the packs with newly updated content, so I dont do it that often.

However over christmas I will be doing this, and cutting lots of old shit in the process.

TNBPack 1/2/3 will cease to exist - because they are full of shit thats from our old HL2 and Terminator servers still.

Instead we will have 2 packs total. Stalker Models, and Stalker Weapons.


But for the record, if you want to make sure you have everything for now.....downloading packs 1/2/3 is a good idea as they will contain lots of weapons, model face textures, weapon sounds, stuff like that.
