Crashes

Since the most recent update, I haven't been able to connect to the servers for more than 10 minutes at a time. My game crashes to desktop completely at random. I've tried literally everything to fix it, uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying game cache, removing and unsubscribing to addons that aren't from the server, clearing out my gamefolders, changing it to DX8. Nothing has worked. What tdo i do

It did it with i17 too.

Yeah, I've had the same issue recently. Floating around in observe, not moving, then the .exe suddenly stops working and crashes. As with most issues with Gmod, it'll probably end up clearing up after an update or at random because Gmod is stupid.

I dont even get a notification of it crashing. Consider yourself privileged.

Does this happen on all God servers or just TnB?

It happens to me on certain maps, and not just TnB

for me it happens on c18 and c8

well the gmod devs cant exactly fix crashes that arent reported

also
1) up-to-date video drivers?
2) describe the circumstances of the crash - i assume youre just trying to play like normal and you havent tried sitting still and not even moving the camera

Add -condebug to your launch options and check the console.log file that appears in your gmod folder when it crashes. Idk, upload that to pastebin and link it here or something.

I googled it, I think it's mainly a memory leak. There isn't anything in the console logs aside from the obvious loading in.

until the hotfix is released have you considered increasing your memory to increase the mean time between failure wrt memory leaks? DownloadMoreRAM.com - CloudRAM 2.0 (http://www.downloadmoreram.com/) is where i get all my ram. i'd recommend 16gb max though unless you have a big enough power supply.
